The MagStor FC-HL8i is an LTO8 tape internal tape drive designed for the MagStor series 1U rack unit, or a compatible tape-drive enclosure with validated active cooling. A 5.25-inch bay alone does not establish adequate cooling. Supporting both TAR and LTFS formats with any compatible third-party software that utilities LTO8 tape drives.
