HH = half-height; FH = full-height. Rates are maxima per drive, subject to host, source storage and software. BASE options use recertified mechanisms with a 1-year standard drive warranty. Other configured choices may appear in the configurator; confirm the exact part list before purchase.

Host connection

Choose the path to your computer.

The drive module supplies the SAS or Fibre Channel interface. Thunderbolt / USB4 and 10GbE workflows use compatible SAS drives plus a separately selected bridge; those interfaces are not built into the bare chassis.

Compatible SAS host adapter and cabling to the installed drives.

Fibre Channel

Compatible FC host adapter or fabric, ports and fiber cabling.

Thunderbolt / USB4

SAS drives with a separately selected MagStor 1U bridge. The configurator adds the required bridge to the parts list.

SAS drives with a separately selected ePro 10G bridge and compatible host/software setup.

MagStor libraries use industry-standard LTO and SCSI communication with IBM LTO drive mechanisms. Select the library-aware application and edition for your operating system, tape generation and automation workflow.

No. M1000-G2-LIB-0DRV is the zero-drive chassis. The configuration summary prices the additional parts you select separately from the chassis-only price above.

Can this library grow later?

This model is not expandable. Its cartridge capacity remains 8slots.

How should I plan software and media?

Match media to the installed drive generation and choose software with the required tape-library support. Use the parts list to verify the complete host connection and accessories.
