Our LTO tape drives are equipped with a standout feature: two 10G Ethernet ports. This powerful configuration is designed to maximize your data transfer efficiency, supporting up to four LTO tape drives simultaneously. With this setup, you can achieve a maximum transfer rate of 2000 MB/s, ensuring that your data backups and transfers are completed swiftly and reliably.

Save Space & Remap LTO Drives on the Fly

Use cases include mapping one or many individual drives to space limited rack or blade servers, remapping attached drives from failed servers to replacement servers, adding shared capabilities to direct attached storage and remotely locating direct attached disk or tape devices.

Up to 100 Meters Distance

The ePro 10G’s remote positioning capability, up to 100 meters from the switch or client, offers a suite of benefits including improved physical security by reducing the risk of unauthorized access, noise reduction for a quieter work environment, flexible deployment options that accommodate diverse physical layouts, space optimization by enabling out-of-the-way installations, and minimized electronic interference, which can enhance system performance. Advanced Alloy Enclosure 

The MagStor ePro features a lightweight yet durable advanced alloy enclosure and an efficient power supply with an advanced cooling design. TAA Compliant: Our premium drives are manufactured in Japan (easily identified by a Blue button) and meet the Trade Agreements Act requirements for government procurement. 

*All Half Height drives with a Black eject button are manufactured in China.*

MagStor LTO tape drives are TAA compliant because the LTO drives are made in Japan, and assembled in the USA, a country that is a designated country under the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). The TAA requires that the U.S. Government acquire only U.S.-made or designated country end products.  The drives being made in Japan means they adhere to the high-quality manufacturing & security standards required for TAA compliance. A majority of other brands manufacture their LTO drives in China, which is not an approved TAA compliant country.
